Chaos is a surreal video that juxtaposes nature and the work environment. The scene opens with a slowly-spinning view of a grassy field on a bright day. The field is then partially obscured by the legs of a woman wearing black high heels and pacing across a wood floor. She almost looks to be walking on the grass; however, her lateral movement does not completely align with the field's rotation. The illusion is further betrayed by the sound of her shoes clomping on the wood floor.
As the video progresses, more pairs of identical pacing legs are layered over the field until it is completely obscured. The legs walk increasingly faster, and at their climax, the storm of clattering shoes sounds like rain falling on a roof. Gradually, the legs slow down, diminish, and fade away, and the sunny field reappears. The video ends with a return to the calm of nature.
